The house was originally built during the 16th century to accommodate several
families (hence the name « Hameau » meaning hamlet).
It was fully restored in 2003, in accordance with the original style and materials:
dry stone walls, original windows and roof tiling with “génoises”
.
The original food storage silos in the stone floors have been converted to decorative
use along with a pair of ancient ovens.
The original fireplaces and numerous other details place the visitor back in
the time when this was a family residence.
The
gîte is located outside the village of Gramont in the department of Tarn
& Garonne
Access to the house and swimming pool for handicapped persons
